Regional Account Manager - Northeastern United States
The role of the Regional Account Manager at Prime Advantage:
A company may have the best equipment, well designed facilities, great products, superior staff, and a solid customer base; however, many of these companies never achieve their full potential. The purchasing leverage, exposure to best-in-class suppliers, and professional expertise gained through Membership in Prime Advantage is an eye-opening experience for both senior executives and purchasing professionals, and offers a vision of what an organization with more clout and resources can realize. Our Account Managers play a key role in delivering this value to our Members.
As a Prime Advantage Regional Account Manager, you will work with Member companies (small to medium-size industrial manufacturers) within a territory to help them achieve cost efficiencies and introduce them to best in class Endorsed Suppliers that become valued partners throughout their organizations. You will also build cross departmental relationships (purchasing, operations, engineering, finance, marketing, logistics) within each Member company.
Regional Account Mangers are valuable resources for our Member companies in that they are constantly introducing new ideas and opportunities, based on best practices within the group, that improve cost structures, decrease the level of risk within the supply chain, and increase efficiencies within the procurement process. Equally, Regional Account Managers work across our Endorsed Supplier base, leveraging their Member relationships and account knowledge to create greater sales efficiencies that ultimately lead to increased market share.
Regional Account Managers are extremely talented and possess a diverse set of skills. They are strong, confident communicators with a strategic vision for their territories. They are goal oriented sales professionals, balancing both a strategic and tactical approach to how they manage their day to day activities. Regional Account Managers possess a solid track record of servicing customers well, while simultaneously growing customer volume within a sales territory.
Specific requirements for the Regional Account Manager position include:

- Proven ability to manage a large and diverse account base
- Comfortable working in a remote sales environment
